About the Artist

My path as an artist began when I was the kid who could draw anything and won scholarships to classes at the Houston Art Museum. Throughout college and after, I explored many media. In 2004, I made my first quilt. Then I discovered that quilts could occupy a wall. They could be Art.

From 2014 through 2018, I was a member of the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery in the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA. My work has been exhibited in AQS Paducah, the International Quilt Festival in Houston, and in exhibits in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

My art has been published in several "Inspired by" books (.... the Beatles, .... Elvis, .... Endangered Species, .... National Monuments, and .... National Parks, which was celebrated in the National Library or Congress) by Donna Marcinkowski Desoto and in Mary Kerr's book Dare to Dance.
